The PCV valve on the Duratec is not inline with the cam cover's breather tube; it is routed elsewhere, terminating at the side of the engine block underneath the intake manifold. The PCV valve is located beneath the intake manifold, but its sole purpose it to allow air into the crank case. That valve is a one-way valve, and only allows air in.

Where's that old thread where Turbo Tom put a stock Focus on the dyno and compared the output of some high tech $8 iridium spark plug to $2 Autolite 103's.
